Tank yardsタンクヤード
As a tank terminal operator, we regard tank yards as collectively form the hub of all facilities housed at the Ichikawa Complex. The yard for organic hazardous materials consists of forty-five tanks while the yard for inorganic, non-hazardous materials consists of seventeen tanks. Tanks of varying sizes—ranging from those capable of holding 200 kiloliters of materials to those capable of holding 1,000 kiloliters of materialscan be found here.
All tanks and lines are built to all-stainless steel specifications
In 1985, all tanks and lines belonging to the MARUZEN Group were converted to all-stainless steel construction. By taking advantage of the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, our tanks and lines can accommodate highly acidic products and a huge array of other chemicals and maintain quality levels effectively.
The one-tank/one-line system
There are sixty-five tank yard pipelines to match the number of tanks present. In other words, one pipeline is attached to each tank. Since materials are transferred through a one-tank/one-line system from the point where they are discharged from a ship to the point where they are shipped by tank lorry, products will not become contaminated inside tanks.
