Kashiwa Complex No. 2柏第2事業所
Kashiwa Complex No. 2 is a comprehensive logistics center that opened in February 2022 to coordinate operations with the existing Kashiwa Complex No. 1.
This facility is a high-performance comprehensive logistics center for both general and hazardous products, capable of handling class 4 hazardous materials (inflammable materials), designated combustibles, and poisonous and deleterious materials, and is also equipped with a temperature-controlled warehouse (with heating and cooling capabilities between 5°C and 25°C). This also makes it possible for class 4 hazardous materials, special inflammable materials, to be handled here. Similar to Kashiwa Complex No. 1, Complex No. 2 is registered as a bonded warehouse and is capable of handling import and export cargo.
This complex is located between Higashi-Kanto Expressway Chiba-kita IC, which connects to Keiyo Road, and National Route 16, which connects to the Joban Expressway at Kashiwa IC. National Route 464 Kita-Chiba Road, which also runs nearby, is a major road that is scheduled to be extended, which will make it possible to reach both the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway and Narita Airport in the shortest time possible, further improving its already impressive transit convenience. Located within 30 kilometers of central Tokyo, Kashiwa Complex No. 2 is particularly useful as a logistics base for the northern Kanto area.
